Early Childhood Admissions
Our youngest students learn, pray, grow and explore on our St. Joseph Campus at the corner of Lake and Ridge in Wilmette. St. Joseph School is pleased to offer a broad and stimulating curriculum spanning 2-Year-Old, 3-Year-Old and Jr. Kindergarten programs, with curriculum designed to appropriately challenge and lovingly support the diverse needs of young learners. Early Childhood teachers build confidence, nurture social skills and provide a solid academic foundation to prepare students for a successful transition to elementary school.

Elementary & Middle School AdmissionsK-8 students enjoy stimulating challenge and loving support housed in a K-8 setting on the St. Francis Xavier Campus. Curriculum and programs across elementary grades are thoughtfully scaffolded to ensure steady and robust progress, with careful articulation by faculty that honors the unique needs of every student. Middle School students gain increasing independence and grow in confidence rooted in a thoughtful advisory system, the opportunity to lead through student council, and a sophisticated academic schedule that fosters advocacy and personal responsibility.
Students are assigned to a Crusader Community for the duration of their time at SFX. Young children develop confidence and a budding sense of identity through participation in weekly liturgies, field days, school assemblies, and special projects as part of their community. A buddy system also pairs Middle School students with the youngest students on campus for opportunities to read, share and reflect together. A 1:1 technology program supports digital literacy and citizenship, and frequent offers to engage in service, athletics, after school clubs and other programs ensure that both elementary and middle school students find their voice and develop their gifts.
